These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the InterviewDen AI interview-practice tool at theinterviewden.com (the “Service”), operated by InterviewDen (“InterviewDen,” “we,” “us”). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

InterviewDen provides AI-generated mock interviews, practice exercises, and feedback for educational and interview-preparation purposes. The Service is a practice aid only: it does not guarantee any interview outcome, job offer, or result.

3. Eligibility and your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
  • You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it current.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Keep your login credentials secure.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Upload personal data about other people that you do not have the right to share, or any unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
  • Scrape or harvest data from the Service, or use it to build or train a competing product, model, or service.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit, such as your resume text, job descriptions, and answers (“Your Content”). You grant InterviewDen a limited license to host, process, and transmit Your Content as needed to operate the Service — including sending it to the AI service providers described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the right to provide it.

6. AI-generated output

Interview questions, scores, and feedback are generated by AI and provided for practice only. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent, and they do not constitute professional, legal, financial, or career advice. Use your own judgment and do not rely on the output as a guarantee of any result.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (other than Your Content), and the InterviewDen name and branding, are owned by InterviewDen and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal interview preparation.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (including Anthropic, ElevenLabs, and Google). Your use of the Service may also be subject to those providers’ terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI output will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InterviewDen will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or US $100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold InterviewDen harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from Your Content or your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account and all associated data from your Profile page.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
